The Ns are the only non-buyable ship out of that group, and they are still pretty common if you want to cap them later on. I'd repair them manually and sell them to help equip your main ship. I know they're not exactly going to work out as traders! - View image here:. I know I'm supposed to sell them, but I ahve this borderline compulsive squirrel mentality where I just can't let go of things that I acquire.I'd far rather put them to some use than sell them, even if it does mean spending money on them. Is there anything at all worthwhile, no matter how insignificant that I can do with the two Ns, the Rapier and the Sabre that I've captured? They all need repairs, and equipping, and at this point in the game I have less than 2000 credits. Well, that's it.I just wish I had more than a couple of hours every few evenings to invest in this game, because it is immense! If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about and can help me out, that would be awesome. Somebody on the official forum's MARS thread posted an XML line that he said needed to go in any 3rd party 7047 script files, and, since XML is easy enough, I did this and restarted the game, and reloaded the script cache in the script editor.but no joy. I installed MARS, then CMOD3, then the CMOD xml files that I believe are supposed to make MARS work with CMOD.however, when I load the game, I get an installation aborted message concerning MARS.

Might I not be seeing them because I am in Neptune/Uranus/Saturn sectors?

I know the scrip is on, because I can see and change it's options. I've asked these question on the official forums already, but have been waiting almost a day for an answer (well, to the first question at least)ġ) Is anyone using the Salvage Command and NPCs script by ThisIsHarsh?ġ.1) Do you know if the NPC salvagers will nip around the universe salvaging all the cool, hidden stuff like derelict unique ships, whilst I spend hours in the Sol system doing training and Terran missions?ġ.2) Depsite having this script installed and enabled correctly, I've not seen any NPC salvagers, and have been able to salvage two Ns, a Rapier and a Sabre at my leisure. after playing Lords of the Realm 2 i bought Lords of the Realm 3 and it was so massively different that there was no other option, i had to chuck the game.Hello, bit of a dirty lurker here, but I caved in and bought this (even AFTER the Steam sale) because of this thread. Most games you can usually always play the next release easy as, but not so for X3! There is only one other game ever that i played the sequel and had no idea what to do. The game is so damned good though that, after an irritated post or two on the forums, you trudge on and find yourself getting comfortable with the UI and really enjoying the game. That first few hours of play followed by that sudden, harsh realization that you still have a lot to learn about the game seems to happen to everyone. If your getting several million creds for the ship, you can pretty much bet its loaded up with something of value. An empty TS will sell for far far less than a GPPC loaded one.

A good tip for selling ships - if you have multiple ships of the same model in a shipyard then you will not know which is which when selling them.Ī good way to judge it would be to look at the value of the sale.
